FAQ
Questions shop owners ask
Updated November 4, 2026
Straight answers to what owners ask before they start. If yours is not here, write to support@pluvika.com.
What does Pluvika cost, and is there a commission?
There are three plans: Free, Pro at $9 a month and Business at $19 a month. Free costs nothing for as long as you keep it, with no card. Pro and Business start with 14 days free to try: you give a card at the start, and nothing is charged before day 15. There is no commission: Pluvika never takes a share of your orders, whatever you sell.
What happens on day 15 of the trial?
Polar charges the card you gave for the plan you chose, $9 for Pro or $19 for Business, and your plan carries on month by month. If you cancel before day 15, nothing is charged. If you cancel or a payment fails, your page carries on with the Free plan: 3 products on show and the Pluvika badge; the rest are hidden, never deleted, and come back when you upgrade.
Do my customers need an app or an account?
No. Your page opens in any phone's browser from one link, and customers order without signing up. With On WhatsApp, the default, they send the order from their own WhatsApp; with Straight to Pluvika, they place it on your page.
Which layout is mine, and can I change it?
There are three. Menu shows rows with a small photo, for food and anything sold by the line. Shop shows your products in a photo grid. Services puts an About block on top, then each service with its time, its price and a Book button. The wizard starts you on the one your type of business usually needs, and you can switch at any time in Settings, under Layout, where a preview shows your own items in each.
Can my page look like my brand?
Yes. Pick one of three looks, Midnight, Paper or Brand Tint, which washes the page in your color, and choose that color for your buttons and prices. Add your logo and a cover photo. Photos are sized on your phone as you upload them and framed to fit, so there is nothing to design.
How does an order reach me, and what is the code?
With On WhatsApp, the default, the customer fills a cart and taps Send order on WhatsApp; WhatsApp opens with the whole order written out, and they press send. The first line is the order code, a short reference such as PLV-7K3M that you can read back on the phone, and the last is a link to the order's tracking page. Either way, Pluvika keeps every order in your Orders list under its code.
How does the customer pay?
Directly to you, in the ways you accept: cash, card on delivery, bank transfer or PayPal. Pluvika never handles the money between you and your customers; each order shows the method the customer chose.
Does Pluvika deliver?
No. You deliver with your own drivers or a courier, or customers pick up. You decide where you deliver: within a distance of your shop, to the areas you name, by shipping to regions, or pickup only. A customer outside your area sees it before ordering.
Which countries, currencies and languages does it work in?
Pluvika works wherever your customers can open a web page and use WhatsApp, and your WhatsApp number can be from any country. Prices show in the currency you choose in Settings, from the UAE dirham and the euro to the Indian rupee and the Brazilian real. Your page speaks twenty languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, French, Indonesian, Urdu, German, Polish, Turkish, Filipino, Swahili, Greek, Italian, Persian, Russian, Vietnamese, Thai and Bengali, and each customer sees it in their phone's language.
Which language do customers see, and can I write my products in two languages?
Each customer sees your page in their phone's language, one of the twenty, and can switch with one tap at the foot of the page; the buttons, the checkout and the WhatsApp messages follow. Your products show the words you write, in every language: a product has one name and one description, and nothing is translated automatically. To serve two languages, write both in the same field, such as the Arabic name and the English one together.
What do On WhatsApp and Straight to Pluvika mean?
They are the two ways orders can reach you, chosen in Settings under How orders reach you. On WhatsApp, the default: the customer sends the complete order to your WhatsApp in one tap, and Pluvika saves it too. Straight to Pluvika: the customer places the order on your page without leaving it, and it arrives in your Orders list with an alert on your phone. Straight to Pluvika needs at least one phone or computer with order alerts on; without one, orders go to WhatsApp so none waits unseen.
Which order channel should I choose, and can I switch?
Choose On WhatsApp if you like answering orders in your chat: nothing changes in how you work, and Pluvika still keeps each order with its code. Choose Straight to Pluvika if you would rather have orders in one list, with a push and an email for each and a tracking page your customer follows. You can switch in Settings at any time; Straight to Pluvika needs order alerts on at least one phone or computer, and without them orders go to WhatsApp.
How do order alerts work?
On your dashboard, turn on order alerts on the phone you carry, and it rings for every new order, even when you do not have Pluvika open. On iPhone, add Pluvika to your Home Screen first. You can also have every order emailed to you, and send a test alert at any time. Settings lists every phone and browser that gets alerts.
What happens when my shop is closed?
Your page shows your opening hours as open, closing soon or closed, and you decide what happens after hours. With Accept orders while closed on, customers can still order, and they are told when you open. With it off, the order button shows when you open, and customers order then.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, with the Business plan. Enter your domain under Custom domain in Settings, and the card shows what to add where you manage your domain: a type, a name and a value. Add them there and press Refresh status; once the domain is live, your page serves on it with a security certificate set up automatically. Your pluvika.com link keeps working too.
How do I cancel?
On your dashboard, open Manage subscription under Your plan and cancel there. Your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for; then your page carries on with the Free plan, and products beyond its limit are hidden from the page, never deleted. If you cancel during the 14 days of a trial, nothing is charged. To close everything, Delete account in Settings removes your account and cancels any subscription at once.
Where does my data live, and who can see it?
Your shop's data is stored with Supabase on servers in the European Union, and the site runs on Vercel. In the app, only your account can read your orders and your settings. A customer sees their own order through its private tracking link, which never shows their phone number. Pluvika does not sell your data; the privacy policy has the details.
What does the Free plan include?
Your page at your own pluvika.com link with 3 products, the three modes (Order, Inquiry and Browse), orders and questions on WhatsApp, order codes and tracking pages, your Orders list and order alerts, the three looks, twenty languages and your page's analytics. A small Powered by Pluvika badge sits at the foot of your page; Pro removes the badge and the product limit. Free has no time limit and needs no card.
How long does setup take?
Four short steps: your business and your link, how customers reach you, where you deliver and how you are paid, and your look and hours. Then you add your products and publish with one switch. Your shop starts on Free with 3 products on your page, and Pro or Business can be tried free for 14 days whenever you like. You can change everything later.
Are the demo shops real businesses?
No. Luna Bakery, Noor Flowers and Glow Salon are demo shops made for this site, with made-up items and prices. They show the three layouts working; nothing you tap in them is counted or sent, and their last button leads to the sign-up.
