Delivery apps, or your own link
Updated October 27, 2026
Delivery apps bring you customers who have never heard of you. They also take a share of every order those customers place, including the ones who would have come to you anyway. Here is what each side gives and what each costs, so you can choose where each order should go.
What delivery apps give you
- Reach. People open the app when they want something now, and your shop is on their screen without you posting a thing.
- Discovery. The app's search, categories and reviews put a new shop beside well-known ones.
- Drivers. You hand over the bag, and the app's driver takes it to the door.
What they take
- A share of every order. Delivery apps can take 25–35% commission on every order, on the first sale from a customer and on every repeat one.
- The customer relationship. The order is placed inside the app, so the customer's details, their order history and the next offer they see belong to the app.
- Your place on the screen. Your shop is listed beside every competitor on the same screen, in the order the app decides.
What Pluvika is, and what it is not
Pluvika is software for your shop: a catalog page at your own link, where customers fill a cart and send the order to your WhatsApp in one tap. Every order gets a code and a tracking page, and Pluvika keeps it in your Orders list.
Pluvika is not a delivery service, not a payment processor and not a marketplace. It does not deliver, does not take payments and does not list you next to other shops. You deliver the way you already do, you are paid the way you already are, and the only thing Pluvika sells is its subscription.
| Delivery apps | Pluvika | |
|---|---|---|
| Commission on each order | Can be 25–35% | None |
| Monthly cost | Set by each app's contract | Free, or $9 or $19 a month |
| Who owns the customer | The app | You: every order comes with the customer's name and number |
| Delivery | The app's drivers | Yours: your own drivers, a courier or pickup |
| Payment | Collected by the app | Paid to you directly, in the ways you accept |
| Your own link | A listing inside the app | Your page at pluvika.com, or on your own domain with Business |
| Languages | Those the app offers | Twenty, picked from each customer's phone |
| Order code and tracking | Inside the app | A code and a tracking page for every order |
| Getting started | An application and a contract with each app | Four short steps, then your products |
Using both
You do not have to pick one. Many shops keep an app for discovery and move their repeat customers to their own link: the first order comes through the app, and the next one comes straight to you.
Put your link where those customers will find it: on the bag, on a card in the box, in your Instagram bio and your WhatsApp status. A customer who already knows you can order directly, and the whole sale stays yours.
What the apps take from your sales
Type your monthly sales through delivery apps and your commission rate. The calculator shows what that comes to in a month and in a year, next to the price of Pluvika Pro.
